Learn about a career in biostatistics at no cost
The Los Angeles Biostatistics and Data Science Summer Training Program at USC (LA’s BeST @ USC) offers students from around the country an opportunity to learn about biostatistics – and make valuable networking connections – without the financial burden.
Each summer, LA’s BeST introduces approximately 14-16 young people to the basics of biostatistics and data science, and provides opportunities to network and learn about career opportunities. The program covers the cost for each trainee to travel to Los Angeles, live in the city for the duration of the program, and earn two academic credits from USC to transfer back to their home institution.
